No matter what you do, when you are in a vehicle: use your safety belt. No little person, grown up person, babies or anything should be in the car, truck, etc without a seat belt on. There are places where a policeman can pull you over for not having your belt on. That's not cool, but an easy fix, if you would just put it on. Here's Laura running around town w/ me...
God is always there to protect you, but you have to help him by following the rules and use the belt He created to put around you!!
So, today (Actually March 28) was kind of a regular day. Which is great! There's always so much to do and not enough time to do it in. It helps when you have kind of a regular day! So, we were in the kitchen when Laura kind of chilled out a bit...
As you can see, Laura was just so Laid Back while I made my lunch! What a nut! I picked her up and hugged her, she's so cute. And hugs are a good thing! Check out my BFF shirt from my BFF Christina! Hollah out to you in CA!! Ho!!!
Back to the computer, my desk..the mess and some yummy South Beach Pizza!! I like to look at my email, look at my work, look at ads...
Laura likes to look at sales sheets and ads, too! She likes bargains just as much as I do! Hey, if you needed to get it, you may as well get it for less money. Sometimes you may have to wait, you may see a coupon, or sometimes you don't really need it like you thought! But, it's always fun to look at things.
So, here it is an ordinary day...but a nice day! You can still have an adventure even when you don't leave your home. You can take the most wonderful trips through reading books, drawing, writing stories...Ahhh...we love those kinds of days....
Welcome to the Laura and Kai cooking show!! As always, it's a pleasure to see you all! Today, we will be cooking a simple meal of fried eggs!
First, You need the following items:
special egg pan
special egg flipper
eggs
olive oil
a big smile
your parent's(or an adult's) help
The next thing you will need to do is to ask your parents to stay right by your side as you turn on the stove. We happen to be cooking on a Gas Stove so you can see the flames below the pan.
You have your parent or adult turn it on, place the pan on top of the heat and put a little oil in the pan. This time, on Auntie's stove, it's a good idea to use the back burner because it is for smaller pans.
Kai likes to crack the egg himself, so his Auntie Chary took the pan off the heat and Kai made the perfect crack in his egg using the edge of the counter. Then, he put his thumbs in the cracks to open the egg up and slowly plop the egg into the pan.
This is when Auntie Chary put the pan back on the heat.
Here's the best part of all: Eating! (Did I say we love to eat?) Kai and his brother, Keoni wanted fish sticks w/ their eggs. Sure, why not Auntie's fine with that! Rice, Eggs, and fish sticks: YUMMMM!!! The boys said their prayers and devoured all their food! Laura loves a clean plate, too!
